The Traverse City Beach Bums were an independent professional baseball team in the Frontier League and played home games out of Wuerfel Park between 2006 - 2015. Single-phase ground-up construction of the property. The stadium is now home to the Traverse City Pit Spitters and operates at Turtle Creek Stadium.
